| Description:
Job Description: Responsible for product design development and engineering analysis utilizing CAD / CAE software for the development of automotive OEM components. Requirements: Degree in Engineering 3 + years engineering experience. Proficient in the use of one or more CAD softwares including CATIA, Unigraphics, Pro/E, Solidworks, SolidEdge, Microstation, and Autodesk products. Proficient in the knowledge of one or more CAE softwares such as Nastran, Patran, Hypermesh, Ansys, FEMAP, Adams, Abaqus, and LS Dyna. Assets: Work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment Understanding of design process, techniques, and design tools, DFA, and DFMEA. Demonstrated ability to be creative and innovative Capable of developing new concept designs quickly Quickly produce hand sketches to communicate design ideas. Cooperate within a team environment and to work with minimal supervision. Strong problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail Excellent English communications skills â?? both written and oral Ability to take action in solving problems while exhibiting judgment and a realistic understanding of issues Must be highly motivated and a self starter Complete projects within tight deadlines Willingness to travel to client sites for on-site support |
