Description:
MISSION
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the BDM's core mission will be to acquire new materials handling customers through intensive sales activities both on the telephone and in personal meetings. They will target small, medium and large Ontario enterprises to identify and qualify opportunities and when appropriate enter into a sales process. The BDM will continually seek new and innovative ways of identifying opportunities, growing their account base and cross-selling other Company products into their existing accounts.

FUNCTIONAL TASKS

Demonstrated ability to:
Identify new business opportunities and develop sales strategies to effectively promote Company services to these prospective customers.
Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to identifying needs, leading demonstrations, presenting proposals and on to closing deals.
Develop existing customers to maximize the 12 month revenue potential.
Up-sell and cross sell Company's conferencing services to your 12 month customer base.
Building trust and confidence with prospects and customers as a catalyst for growing accounts.

In light of the identified responsibilities, the following are specific deliverables that the position is designed to achieve.
Meet or exceed sales quotas as directed by the Vice President of Sales.
Meet or exceed activity KPI's as directed by the Vice President of Sales
Working as an effective member of the Company team, sharing information and fostering strong internal communications with other Company team members.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
The following indicates specific industry, academic and functional experience/qualifications that are important to the successful achievement of the identified responsibilities and performance deliverables.
At least three years experience in a similar outbound prospecting role selling to senior business decision makers.
A fearless prospector capable of making large volumes of outbound telephone calls to fill their sales pipeline.
A smart, driven, hardworking individual who brings a positive attitude to the workplace
Experience in transaction based businesses within a service industry
Experience with Microsoft Outlook (email), Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Internet.
A University or TAFE Education
REMUNERATION AND BENEFITS
Generous base salary commensurate with experience.
On target earnings with an unlimited earning potential.
Superannuation payments equal to 9% of base salary.
Four weeks annual paid vacation.
Reimbursement of reasonable pre-approved expenses incurred while carrying out the responsibilities of this role. Occasional interstate travel will be required for this role.
